Promoting the art of Bonsai in Northern Ireland

About us

The Northern Ireland Bonsai Society was founded in 1986 by a small group of people interested in this wonderful art form and realised the need for an organisation to promote and further it in this country.

Everyone who has seen a display of fine Bonsai is likely to be convinced of their great beauty. We are a society dedicated to spreading awareness and knowledge of these beautiful trees and bringing them to the attention of the General Public.

The Society holds a meeting on the Second Friday of every month in the Belfast area at 8.00pm.  (Except July& August).

We also hold meetings in the Craigavon area at the Brownlow Community Hub, 7 Brownlow Rd, Armagh, Craigavon BT65 5DL.
