Tonight’s NIBS Meeting

About 20 of our members met up tonight from across N.Ireland. From Dromore, Lurgan, Jonesborough, Holywood, Ards, Belfast, Bryansford, and even one from Dublin, but he was late :-)

It was a busy night with a lot of trees being worked on. A repotting of a Ficus that was in dire need was one of the main learning opportunities on the night. Quite a few trees were trimmed and a few were just there of discussion on styling options.

Here’s are usual snaps from the night with the odd comic line attached.

Adrian's strips clash with his big hinoki cypress. No dress sense that fella!
Graham can't find his glasses
Jamie growling at the members, no manners that boy :-)
Ian B is amazed at Phil's candle biting technique for White Pines!
Meet Harry and John, they have dodged the camera every month so far, but not this time :-)
Ben inspects a Larch from Willowbog before buying.
Gillian's little Larch has great potential. Will she have the nerve to loose 2/3 of the tree? Not an easy decision for new members.
