After a few mild weeks buds are swelling and in a few cases, trees are pushing open strongly. The last 2 days where I live have been sunny blue sky but a frost during the night. It’s always a judgement call when to repot and when to lift them out from Winter protection. A late cold snap can cause worry.
Here’s a Fuji Cherry slightly ahead of it game due to a repot and frost protection in a greenhouse.
Blues skies this week.
Who says you can’t get ramification fine enough on a Sycamore!
OK, it’s a full sized mature tree not a bonsai, but just look at the delicate ramification.
