NIBS – Repotting Workshop

Just a reminder that the Society is having a Repotting Workshop on March 19th with all money raised being used to help promote the Bonsai 30 Exhibition. This workshop is open to all, not just NIBS members.

The workshop will be held in Newtownards (contact us for location details) and will lead by Ian Young and Phil Donnelly. Spend a full day 9.30am to 5pm repotting trees with experienced members. For a minimum donation to the club of £15 we hope to see as many members as possible supporting the event helping raise vital funds. This will work on a rolling basis throughout the day and is the ideal opportunity for members new to repotting to get assistance with their trees. However, even experienced members will have trees that might prove awkward to repot due to size or design and this will give them the change to get assistance. Feel free to stay as long as you want thereby not only learning from your own trees but watching others carrying out the repotting process. A great learning opportunity.

We ask members to bring their own supplies however a small amount of potting material will be available on the day if required along with a selection of pots available for purchase. Please check with us first to ensure we have what you need.

If you are wanting to attend this event please express your interest asap.
