Auction: Saving the Best Until Last

We have just added more trees onto the AUCTION PAGE. I think it’s safe to say that these are the pick of the bunch.

One of our founding members, Josh, donated 4 European Beech to the Society’s auction and you’ll be excited to see what’s now on offer. All four trees have been in training as bonsai for 25 years, most of this in open ground developing  trunk, branching and nebari. Josh has some of the best home grown beech in the UK in his collection created from the same batch of seedling back in the day. Some of Josh’s trees can be seen HERE

I have placed the trees below to view, but other angles can be seen on the actual Auction page.

All four trees have been lifted from the ground every 2 years to have the nebari and root system worked. They were all dug up this week and potted. All fine root below the nebari, great material that just need a little more refinement.

Details of how to bid can also be found on that page but we are accepting online bids up until the Thursday before the auction with a limited facility for phone bids on the night. Please ensure you use the contact form on the Auction page to place bid or ring (+44) 07795263569.

100% of money raised in this auction goes to the club’s events in this our 30th Anniversary year.
