Owner: Andrew McMullan – NIBS member since 2022

History:

This tree was collected in County Tipperary back in 2018 and given a few years to recover and gain strength. It was bought by John Lambe a long term club member and received its first styling in 2022. Andrew bought this Shore Pine from John Lambe, another club member, shortly after joining the club. John had started to train the tree into a bonsai style and this is what the tree looked like around 2022-2024.

Ian Young styled the tree at a one to one with Andrew in 2025 and these pictures show what it looked like before and after the session.

The tree early in 2026 in it’s new pot.
