Tree Species: Chinese Juniper ‘Blaauw’ (Juniperus chinensis ‘Blaauw’)

History: 

The tree was purchased in 2017 planted in a wooden box where it had been growing for several years with little attention. Unwanted branches were removed and the tree was transferred to a ‘training’ pot.

The styling was refined before the decision was made to plant the tree on a large rock of Irish origin. The design is attempting to recreate a coastal scene that was inspired by the creators’ visit to Point Lobos in California.
