Tree Species: Japanese Mountain Maple (Acer palmatum)

Owner: Ian Young – NIBS member since 1993 and current club Chairperson

Potter if Known: Wallsall Ceramics

History:

The tree was originally imported from Japan. When Ian bought the tree there were some health concerns so it was immediately potted into a wooden box to give it time to recover.

The tree after a few years of recovery planted up into a more attractive training pot.

The tree has done well and is now in a far more suitable pot. Stunning seasonal colours to look forward to each year.
