Promoting the art of Bonsai in Northern Ireland

Bonsai 40 Exhibition

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the bonsai society in Northern Irelend. We are delighted to have been able to be partnering with Belfast Parks as part of the Autumn flower show at Botanic Gardens. In celebration of 40 years of the club we were pleased to have put on the largest show in the clubs recent history.

We are privileged that Peter Warren agreed to judge the show for us. Peter is a world renown Japanese trained Bonsai artist and author.

During the show we showcased 40 Bonsai. Each of the 40 showcased trees can be viewed with their history using the links below. The trees at the show had a QR code that visitors could scan it with their phone to view the respective history.

Photos from set up to take down will be posted below over the course of the weekend. Search #Bonsai40 or #nibonsai on social media platforms for more.
